Ojai Retreat

The bed stays low enough to keep the view open from the doorway. A continuous ledge holds books, a vessel, and the few objects used at night.

Nothing is centered for the photograph. The paper lantern belongs to the bedside, while the window belongs to the landscape beyond it.
