About
A practice of attention and welcome.

The practice
Rooms that make arrival feel considered.
Independent and closely held, Theorodokoi designs residential interiors across Southern California and for select projects beyond. The work moves from space planning and material study through sourcing, styling, and installation.
Each project begins with the approach to a room: what the eye meets first, where the body pauses, and how light carries a person inward. Beauty matters, but so do ease, orientation, and the ordinary rituals a home must hold.
How to say it
theh-oh-roh-DOH-koy
An English-friendly guide to the Greek name. The stress falls on “DOH.”
What it means
The theorodokoi of ancient Greece received and assisted sacred envoys before Panhellenic games and festivals. The name gives the studio its central idea: design as a form of reception.
The work is not historical in style. The reference lives in the way a project is guided and a room is composed to welcome.
The designer
A personal practice, guided closely from first conversation to installation.
Clients work directly with the studio throughout the project. The relationship is steady, candid, and attentive to the practical decisions that accumulate between the first plan and final placement.
The founder’s name, portrait, and full biography will be added when those materials are ready.
