Studio

A practice of attention and welcome.

Warm modern interior opening to a Southern California garden Temporary placeholder · Will be replaced with real project photography as soon as possible

The name

Theorodokoi were receivers of sacred visitors.

In ancient Greece, the theorodokoi hosted and assisted visiting envoys who arrived for shared games and festivals. Their role joined welcome with responsibility. A guest had to be received, oriented, and cared for.

The studio sees interior design through that same lens. A client brings a place, a set of needs, and a life already in motion. The work is to receive all three carefully, then give the project a clear path forward.

The approach

Architectural clarity, lived-in warmth.

01

Begin with circulation

How a person enters, turns, sits, reaches, and gathers comes before decoration.

02

Let materials carry the mood

Wood, plaster, stone, metal, and textile do the expressive work through grain, depth, and use.

03

Keep the room personal

The finished interior should not erase its owners. It should give their habits and collections a better frame.
